Good features
I bought this Dryer in January 2022
It is good product but it takes a little longer to dry clothes and the Alert tone is very low needs sharper and loud tone

Performance
I bought this washer and dryer 3 months ago because my original Washer/Dryer was Maytag and lasted 35+ years. It is easy to use, however, it takes a long time to dry towels (only 3towels)on the towel setting and if there is another item in the dryer that isn’t a towel it seems to sense that and not the time required to dry the towels. I am concerned about the seam? Or something on my drum…..is this normal or a fault in the drum?

Works well!
Overall we're happy with this machine. The only complaint is that the sensor doesn't dry the clothes very so unless you put it on quick dry and manually set it it never gets a load dry.

Have been using this new dryer for about a month
Bought this dryer about a month ago and it has performed as expected. Still haven't had time to analyze all the bells and whistles but it does a fine job of drying everything we have thrown at it so far. Crossing my fingers and hoping it lasts. Too soon to assess long term performance after only a month but positive thinking can't hurt, eh? ;>)

Good dryer.
Had it about six months. It’s strange that they didn’t design it with a light inside. The door is a bit flimsy feeling. Dries clothes, works as expected.

Love it.
The dryer is quiet and quick. The only thing negative is can’t hear the buzzer when it is finished. No big deal. Just got to go check it.

the quick start guide was missing some printed areas, so difficult to figure out directions. The dryer does take longer than an hour to dry most things.

Good set so far
I wanted a "basic" set that could handle a comforter, pillows too and this seems to work satisfactorily. I haven't dried my comforter and pillows completely though, cut down the time and hung them up to finish. As some reviews have noted, the end signal is not loud enough for me and I can forget but can live with this I suppose.

Works fast
15 loads in, seems jus as loud as old machine, but more efficient (power consumption wise) Nothing else unusual...assuming I’ll be good for 15 years perhaps of regular cottons, denims and towels to process.

Like the extra power option
Nice modern looking dryer that replaced our 30 year old model. Runs well, though it has a bit of a clunky start. Easy to clean lint filter. Takes a bit longer for the clothes to dry, and the dryer does not seem to run as hot. The hookup is a little trickier. Overall has been a good investment so far. Only had it for a month.

Dries quickly
I bought this dryer 4 months ago. It works well other than making an annoying grinding noise with most cycles. The website is hard to navigate and was unable to book a service call online. Now ongoing emails with Maytag to try to book service.

as expected
bought matching washer, it smells up my whole laundry room with hot plastic and a chemical smell each time I wash. I have run the washer cleaner 4 times with no change. It is the first thing you smell when you walk into the laundry area. the wash cycle takes almost two hours to complete reg wash. [1.53 min] that is a lot of water and power. the dryer works as a dryer should.

Not like they used to build them!
3 years in and squeak like a scared cat , order parts and the tolerance on amazon parts were garbage, went to appliances store, paid two times amazon price for only slightly better quality, I used to swear by Maytag now I swear on it

Not bad
It’s an easy to use dryer and it looks great. I’m not overly excited about the 3 second hold to get the dryer to start and it sometimes is finicky if I let go slightly too early. I also feel it doesn’t always completely dry the clothes and I have to restart the dryer a second time.

Disappointed
Wish we would have selected a model without sensors. Timing of cycle constantly changing and it's impossible to schedule around it. Also vibrates on spin. Our old Samsung model was much better. Only Maytag we've ever owned and may be our last.

Still waiting for replacement parts
I bought the Maytag with extra power front load electric dryer about 2 months ago. I enjoyed all of the features but soon after purchasing, a belt inside the dryer began to come off. It stopped working about 6 weeks into owning it and now the replacement part is back ordered.

I miss my buzzer to tell me when the load is done, also always have to use timed dry or it shuts off when still wet

Not overly impressed
Tough to get the correct amount of time required to properly dry loads. Most often is not fully dried when the cycle stops so I need to put it back on again, for a timed 5 or 10 min at least. I would much prefer my previous dryer, that had no electronics on it and it just did the job.

No Light
i bought this about a month ago i am not sure i would buy or recommend as it does not have a light inside which i guess i assumed all dryers had have never had one without, not sure i like that as well i do not like the fact you have to hold the button and do a count down for the dryer to start

Mostly good
Does the job. The only thing i dont like is that you have to hold down the start button for 3 seconds to start it. Sometimes if you hold a second shorter or longer it doesn't start.

Not what I was expecting from Maytag.
Although the dryer works fine, it is not user friendly. You must press the power button then stand there for 3 seconds while you continually press the "on" button for it to turn on. Would be nice to just press and go! It actually counts down 3 - 2 - 1 (on display panel) then clicks on...Washer is the same - crazy!

Poor drying quality
Purchased this dryer in January 2025. Clothes don’t dry as well as I expected. My 15 year old Whirlpool dryer did a better job. They certainly don’t make them like they used to.
