The health and safety of our employees, service providers and consumers is our first priority. We are closely following the World Health Organization’s, Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) and Health Canada’s guidelines on the steps we can take to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have shared specific guidance with our employees and independent service network on the importance of social distancing, proper handwashing and personal hygiene.

 

    • Per CDC & Health Canada recommendations our service technicians may ask you screening questions related to you and your household’s potential exposure to COVID-19 prior to confirming a date for requested service. As a result, consumers may experience a delay and additional steps required in scheduling.

 

As of March 26th, 2020, in order to further minimize the risks for employees, our service partners, consumers and respective communities, we have updated our policy and protocols. We have decided to continue to provide in-home service for cases that are deemed to be “essential services”. The list of “essential services” which will be given priority in terms of service, include the following cases:

  • All safety-related concerns

  • Refrigerator - not working (doesn’t cool)

  • Laundry - won’t start, error code preventing operation, lid locked, leaking, no heat

  • Cooking - oven won’t heat, none of the burners operate

In home service will be restricted to essential services as mentioned above. Any service request deemed non essential will be cancelled and you will be directed to our customer care department.
