Maytag doesnt give a blank - if they did they would ensure that their customers, that have spent over $1500 for a fridge, would get a working fridge - breaking down 1 month in is unacceptable. We purchased Maytag because of the name - I guess their service and quality products are old news now. Will never buy a Maytag again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Doyourjob1313 from Fridge didn't work a month after production Bought this Maytag fridge from Trail Appliances in Nanaimo, BC. We bought the extended warranty. It died after 3 weeks. Maytag didn't replace, but said will fix. Maytag sends out two different repair companies to fix it. Mass confusion and annoyance. One repair guy from company A said it's the compressor and will take 3 weeks to get the part in. Other repair company who we are now dealing with, Barron's in Nanaimo, is saying it's the damper and the part will be 3 business days. It's now 3 WEEKS later....no phone call back even. So we not only lost a whole fridge of food, we are using a bar fridge because our BRAND NEW MAYTAG didn't last one month. $2 grand sitting there. Not sure why we couldn't get a replacement, Trail doesn't care, Maytag doesn't care and Barron's doesn't care. They all just pass the buck.
