Works good but very cheap metalI have been using my new dryer for over a month. It works good but it's so cheap. I expected so much more from Maytag. The metal on the door makes it difficult to even open. And when you do open the door it actually bends because of the cheap metal. The knobs are difficult to turn.

Not what I expectedHad an old dryer (14 yrs). Was starting to fall apart thought a new dryer made in the USA would be a good idea. It's quiet but clothes are damp even after full dryer time. Now making funny noises?

Noisy Dryer - Damp ClothesThe Washer and Dryer came with the house less than two years ago. The dryer has become more and more noisy and our clothes are no longer drying. I have scheduled an appointment for this week and hope they can fix it. We have been extremely happy with our prior Whirlpool appliances and will be reverting back to Whirlpool if Maytag cannot fix the noise and drying issues.

Great products ABYSMAL AFTER SALES SERVICE!My first experience purchasing a Maytag gas stove. Loved the stove, but just under a year later the LED display became faulty, flickering and going in and out of connectivity! I called Maytag 3 times and 3 times I was told there was no licenced gas technician in my area in Collingwood ON. I called Leons where I purchased and they recommended I call FIX Appliances, who not only called me back in 10 mins, but also came out the next day at 8am! So, why can Maytag not do this??? I asked a supervisor! All I got was the usual company spiel. I will never buy Maytag or Whirlpool again as they operate under the same sales contract, which appears to be not to service their customers! Very, very disappointed. Gave 1 star as I like the appliance.

TerribleBought a Maytag washer and dryer set to have the washer cause issues not even a month after purchasing. After a long, frustrating, stressful and gruesome battle to get a new washer in the midst of covid. They finally gave in and provided a new one. It has now been about 4/5 months since receiving the new washer and it is now beginning to act up and make the same noises as the first. I literally has PTSD from the first experience and warranty offers no real benefit. These appliance are supposed to be examples of quality. Maybe at one time but now, this is definitely no longer the case. I should have just repaired my old appliance instead of buying new. This has been such a huge regret. Awful appliances.

Unacceptable customer serviceI bought a gas dryer model MGD8630HC1 from The Brick less than 10 months ago, it stopped working 10 days ago, I called customer service to explain the situation, they finally sent a technician a week later. When he arrived, he explained that a part needs to be replaced, but will take about 21 days. I called customer service and explained to them that we are a family of 8 people and need the dryer on a daily basis. Alicia, the supervisor said that I have to wait for the part to arrive. I kept on explaining to her that we bought this expensive dryer in particular because it’s a heavy duty and can absorb daily usage. She offered to send me a cheque for a $150 so I can take my clothes to the laundromat and have them dryer there. I was honestly fFLOORED and SHOCKED with this offer. I asked her (so you’re telling me drive everyday to the laundromat, wait for 2 hours then come back and continue to do that for 3 weeks till you get the part?) her answer was yes and if we don’t receive the part by then, a decision will be made……at the end I asked her, if I accept your offer of generosity for the $150, what happens when I spend it all in the first week or 2 (which I will be providing receipts), her replay was ( we are offering this as a GOOD WILL GESTURE)………. I honestly can’t believe this is happening with a large national brand name like Maytag
