American made, A+
We bought this a few months back after really researching options. I'm 100% sure this is the best washer on the market today when comparing energy/water consumption and wash results. American made is the way to go and you can't beat their price and service/warranty protection. Will replace future appliances with maytag if available.

Purchased both washer & dryer. Spin doesn't take out the water well and have to use the extra spin on all even the smallest loads. Otherwise takes all day to dry.

Disappointed, Broke After 4.5 Years
Was happy enough with this washing machine, until it broke after just 4.5 years. Wouldn't get past sensing, and technician said it would cost hundreds to repair (like others have experienced), and should just replace. Disappointed that it lasted such a short amount of time, and that the parts for the repair would have been so expensive.

I wish I would have left this washer in the store. You can only add a few clothes to the washer because of the little amount of water that goes in the washer. Some clothes have come out of the washer still dry. It does not have a setting for a medium load. After you wash clothes the washer has a BAD oder, no matter how many times you clean it. If you are not standing right there and remove your clothes as soon as the washer stops you must remove your clothes or they will smell. I give it one star because it has cut my water bill in half.
