Smaller freezer
I have a Maytag Fridge before in my old house and I found this one has more storage space in the upper compartment but smaller freezer space when compare to my old fridge

Broke after 13 months and again exactly 12 months
This fridge is great as long as it’s working .
Broke exactly 13 months after purchase and just recently again exactly 12 months later .
Not much help from Maytag since we didn’t buy the extended warranty .
The thermostat freezes over in the back of the fridge rendering the refrigerator section really hot but the bottom freezer keeps working .this is a common problem / defect of manufacture and they are aware of it !
So frustrating dealing with them !

Constantly Needing Repairs
We loved the look and size of this fridge and thought we were buying a quality product. Within two months of use we had ice build up in the fridge and freezer and the refrigerator was not keeping cool causing our food to spoil. We had it repaired and all had been fine until now. Over a year later the same thing happened so we defrosted the fridge and plugged it back in to see if it that would remedy the problem. Today we noticed our milk was going bad, so the fridge was not keeping its regular temperature like once before. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty, so will be calling to get repairs done again. Sad that buying new no longer guarantees quality. We also have the matching dishwasher which has been nothing but trouble as well.
